ADVAM advances with its suite of ticketless parking solutions

21 April 2015, ADVAM PTY Ltd is pleased to announce the developments of their ticketless solutions to provide three distinct services to meet the parking and transport needs of their clients.

Although we already provide a ticketless solution to a number of clients, following consultation, we realised the need to develop even further and have defined three distinct services to meet client requirements.”

Using innovation to improve Parking and Transport Management The three defined solutions include;

Enabling customers to use a pre-registered account or mobile device to pay for parking

Allowing clients to easily manage staff parking for their own staff or via a licensee relationship

Helping airports to improve traffic flow and manage the access of ground transport vehicles

The newly defined services form part of the parking and transport suite of services designed to meet the changing requirements of parking managers.

Improving customer loyalty
ParkCharge provides an innovative solution making it easier for customers to enter, exit and pay for parking. The fully automated solution enables customers to pre-register an account with the car park provider. Once registered, the driver can use the car park and payment is deducted directly from their account or associated payment card. By integrating with third party automated barrier technology such as Number Plate Recognition (NPR) the process is seamless to the customer, making it easier for them to park and pay for parking.

For ad hoc customers that may not pre-register an account, they are able to make payment using their mobile phone. This option also enables them to benefit from SMS alerts such as notifications that their parking time is due to expire, with the option to easily extend their time via their mobile phone.

In addition to improving the overall customer experience, car park operators are able to link accounts to loyalty programs and provide special offers.

Managing Staff Parking
Whether it’s managing direct staff or to enable licensee’s to manage the parking for their own staff, the ticketless solution enables organisations to easily manage access and payment options for staff parking. Staff are able to manage their own accounts, using the self-service tools to update personal and vehicle details. Once registered and approved by their organisation, the staff member is able to seamlessly access the relevant car park and pay for their parking. Payment can be made via a pre-paid account, linked to a payment card, the employers account or through salary sacrifice.

Improving the flow of traffic around the airport
The ADVAM GroundTransport solution enables airports to manage the flow of traffic by automating access to the ground transport holding bays or pick up zones. By using an online account, vehicle owners or their transport authority are able to register for the service providing vehicle and payment details. Once registered, the vehicle is able to enter the dedicated zone to pick up or drop off passengers and the relevant fee is deducted. The GroundTransport solution removes the need for manual verification and payment, improving the flow of traffic around the airport.
