NCP selects ADVAM as sole provider to manage their Payment Transactions

Posted 14 July 2015, Australia

Following a competitive tender, ADVAM has been selected as exclusive Payment Service Provider (PSP) to assist NCP through their EMV journey and to process all non-cash payment transactions 14 July 2015, London, UK – ADVAM is pleased to announce the award of a new contract with NCP to manage all card payment transactions across the NCP portfolio.

NCP is the largest car park operator in the UK. With a portfolio of over 500 car parks, NCP provides parking in all major cities and airports, processing around 18 million card transactions each year.

Previously NCP used four separate PSPs to manage payment processing across their portfolio. This approach prevented NCP from capitalising on technology and cost efficiencies.

Following a competitive tender, ADVAM was selected to be NCP’s exclusive PSP. Max Crane-Robinson, Commercial Director, NCP comments, “Although we were keen to drive cost efficiencies through the rationalisation of PSPs, and select a partner to support us in our EMV journey, it was equally important that the selected provider demonstrated insight and capability to support NCP’s aspirations in evolving the way its customers pay for parking. We selected ADVAM as they bring unique experience from within the parking and payments sector. They’re able to manage the end to end unattended payment process for us and offer their expertise and broader suite of payment solutions which helps us keep abreast of changes in the payments landscape”.

Andy Stott, Territory Director for ADVAM comments, “We’re thrilled to have been selected by NCP to manage all of its PSP business. By working in partnership, we cannot only enable NCP to realise their efficiency gains, but assist with their EMV journey. This is a big challenge for an organisation with the scale of NCP, so it’s vital that they have the right partners in place, with the experience to understand the impacts on their business”.

Through the consolidation of PSPs NCP expects to reduce their cost base by 30%, allowing them to place greater focus on adding value and improving the overall customer experience. The agreement between NCP and ADVAM will see a phased roll out, making sure that benefits can be realised at each stage. --ends-- About ADVAM (www.advam.com) ADVAM is the leading global provider of payment solutions, providing a full suite of parking, reservation and ecommerce payment solutions.
