Packet and Wire Encryption
Every transaction processed by Advam is encrypted using 128 bit SSL
encryption and submitted for authorisation under a second layer of
similar encryption through Advam's Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Advam utilises Server Gated Cryptography (SGC) to further enhance this
security by automatically upgrading the merchant's encryption
certificate to 128 bits, irrespective of the level of crypto
supported by the client system.
Firewall
Security and Intrusion Detection
Advam's
entire network is protected using multiple hardware as well as
application based firewalls across all network layers.
Intrusion
Detection Systems (IDS) operate on a 24x7 basis, monitoring all attempted access to
Advam's financial network and generating instant security alerts which are monitored by a
member of Advam's support
team for immediate action.
Regular
Third Party Audits and Staff Training
The Advam transaction network undergoes regular
third party audits, which include blind penetration testing on all
points of ingress and egress. Our security conscious team
undergoes frequent and intensive training
on all known threats and
vulnerabilities, further reducing the risk of fraud.
